About me
I am a mathematician, employed as an Adiunkt (Assistant Professor) at IM PAN, Warsaw, in the NCN Maestro Project Analysis on Groups of Piotr Nowak, and (for the summer of 2026) as a Humboldt Fellow at Universität Regensburg, in the group of Clara Löh.Before that, I was a JSPS postdoctoral fellow at Kyōto University, working with Kōji Fujiwara. I completed my PhD at the University of Cambridge in 2024, under the supervision of Henry Wilton. My research is in geometric group theory, a field concerned with understanding groups — algebraic structures encoding the symmetries of mathematical objects — by studying their actions on geometric spaces. I am generally interested in understanding connections between group-theoretical structure and non-positive curvature. Here is a poster explaining the research of my PhD around stable commutator length.
Together with Piotr Nowak, Mark Pengitore, and Arturo Espinosa Baro, I am organising the Analytic and geometric group theory seminar at IM PAN. Please feel free to send me an email if you would like to give a talk!
